Creamery Model: Sunroom

I wanted to do a covered porch to enjoy the great backyard and have a hot tub.

The project grew into a screened-in porch, but then during the final planning stages we decided to enclose the whole thing and make it a true addition to the home to be enjoyed all year long.

Having done that, we then need to purchase a larger HVAC system and encountered other unexpected expenses (crawl space under room…). It was all worth it.

If I had it to do over again, I would have just done a split system for the AC and Heating system for that room only.

It would have saved me money and I would have better control over the temperature in that room.

I am happy to answer any questions about such a project if you are considering something like this.

Next on the list….opening the kitchen to the sunroom for a total kitchen renovation.
